Alright, let’s talk about the end of the League of Legends season, a time that’s always a bit of a whirlwind for me. I’ve been grinding ranked for months, trying to climb as high as possible, and the end of the season is like the final exam after a long semester.
First, I started checking the official end date. It is said that it will be Jan 6, 2025, there is still some time, and I should be able to reach a higher rank.

Then, I started browsing lolvvv and some other third-party LoL websites. I wanted to find out the best builds and runes for my main champions and see if there were any new strategies I could use. I went through a bunch of different websites, each with their own layouts and ways of presenting information. It was a bit overwhelming, but I found a few that I liked. I spent a good few hours just reading through champion guides, watching some gameplay videos of pro players, and making notes on what I wanted to try out.
Next, I decided to download some 4k wallpapers from a website I found. The visuals are stunning, and it’s a nice way to keep me inspired and motivated during the grind. Plus, it makes my desktop look pretty awesome.
After that, I started playing, and trying to apply what I’d learned. Some games went great, others not so much. But that’s just how League is, right? One day you’re on a winning streak, the next you’re losing five games in a row. It’s a rollercoaster. I was keeping track of my wins and losses, trying to see if I was actually improving or just getting lucky. I also started paying more attention to the champion stats, matchups, and team rankings, just to get a better sense of the meta and how I could adapt.
- Checked the season end date: Jan 6, 2025.
- Researched builds and runes: Spent hours on lolvvv and other sites.
- Downloaded wallpapers: Got some awesome 4k League wallpapers.
- Played ranked games: Applied new strategies, tracked my progress.
- Analyzed stats: Paid attention to champion stats, matchups, and rankings.
Reached My Goal
Finally, after all that hard work, I managed to reach my goal rank just a few days before the season ended. It was such a relief to finally get there. I felt a real sense of accomplishment, like all those hours of grinding had actually paid off. I ended up finishing the season in Platinum, which was my target all along. I also learned a ton about the game and improved my skills a lot. I’m already thinking about next season and what I want to achieve. Maybe Diamond next time? Who knows.
So yeah, that’s my story of the end of the League of Legends season. It was a mix of research, practice, and a bit of luck. But most importantly, it was a lot of fun, I think I will go to bed earlier.
