So, I’ve been grinding it out in Warzone Season 3, trying to figure out which guns are actually worth using. You know how it is, the meta keeps shifting, and what worked last season might not cut it anymore. I spent a good chunk of time experimenting with different loadouts, getting wrecked, and occasionally doing some wrecking myself.
First off, I dove straight into matches with some of the guns that were hyped up in the community. I mean, who wouldn’t, right? I picked up the ISO Hemlock. It was always my favorite in the past, and with good reason it is still the best gun in this game. It has a decent fire rate, little to no recoil, and a high damage output. I was melting enemies left and right. It felt real good.

But, you can’t just rely on one gun, can you? Variety is the spice of life, and in Warzone, it’s the spice of not getting instantly deleted when your main gun runs dry. So, I started messing around with some sniper rifles. Now, I’m not the best shot, but the Signal 50 caught my eye, mainly because I saw some pro using it, and it looked sick. After spending some time getting to level 44 to unlock it, I can see why. It’s a beast. Even for a shaky hand like mine, I was landing some pretty satisfying shots. But I was always confused about which is the best, Signal 50 or Victus XMR. I found that Signal 50 is good at close combat and Victus XMR is good for long range. You can choose them according to your needs.
Then there was the DTIR 30-06, a gun that was added back in Season 6, if I remember correctly. I heard it was the best gun in the game at that time. I gave it a whirl and damn, it did not disappoint. The damage output is insane. I was dropping people in what felt like one or two shots.
- The ISO Hemlock: My go-to. Seriously, this thing is a laser beam of death.
- Signal 50/Victus XMR: For those long-range engagements. Signal 50 is good at close combat and Victus XMR is good for long range.
- DTIR 30-06: A classic that still holds up. Packs a serious punch.
I also experimented with other weapons like the Pulemyot 762, Static-HV, and STG44, but they didn’t quite click with me in the same way, which is fine because everyone’s playstyle is different. But if you are looking for some solid options to start with in Warzone Season 3, I’d definitely recommend giving these guns a try.
Of course, the “best” gun can change in an instant. You need to know which are the meta weapons. Balance updates are constantly changing the game, so what’s good today might be nerfed tomorrow. It’s all about staying adaptable and not being afraid to try new things. And sometimes, it’s just about having fun and not taking things too seriously, even when you get blown up by a camper for the tenth time in a row. Happens to the best of us.
Oh, and one last thing, don’t sleep on custom loadouts. The right attachments can make a huge difference. I spent a lot of time in the gunsmith, tweaking things here and there. I realized that I needed to find the perfect combination for each gun. It’s worth putting in the effort to find what works best for you.
So, that’s my experience so far with Warzone Season 3. It’s a wild ride, as always. But hopefully, my little experiments can help some of you out there find your new favorite loadout. Good luck, and may your shots always land true!
