Hey everyone, it’s your boy here, back with another project! Today, I’m diving into the world of “Elden Ring” and creating some custom minifigures. I’ve been obsessed with this game lately, and as I was exploring the map and fighting through different dungeons, I got this crazy idea to bring some of my favorite characters to life. Let’s get started!
First, I spent hours scouring the Elden Ring interactive map online. You know, the one that helps you find all the bosses, items, and quests. This map became my best friend. I zoomed in and out, clicked on every icon, and made a list of the characters I wanted to recreate.

- Sorceress Sellen: I mean, who could resist that mysterious, powerful vibe?
- Ranni the Witch: Gotta have my favorite celestial beauty!
- Malenia, Blade of Miquella: Because, let’s face it, she’s the ultimate badass.
With my list in hand, I started sketching out designs. I’m no artist, but I did my best to capture the key features of each character. I paid close attention to their armor, weapons, and overall look. I even studied some in-game screenshots for details. Like, for Ranni, I really wanted to get that four-armed, ethereal look just right. And Malenia’s prosthetic arm and leg? Super important!
Next, I gathered my materials. I dug through my old boxes of LEGO bricks, ordered some specific pieces online from some marketplace, and even raided my kid’s collection (don’t worry, I’ll replace them!). I also grabbed some modeling clay, paint, and tiny brushes. This was gonna be a mix-and-match, DIY project, and I was pumped!
The real fun began when I started building. I spent days piecing together LEGO parts, molding clay to create custom shapes, and carefully painting each figure. I remember one evening I stayed up until 3 AM, trying to perfect Malenia’s helmet. It was tough, but so satisfying to see it come together.
One of the biggest challenges was figuring out the characters’ unique attributes. For instance, Sorceress Sellen’s headgear was a real head-scratcher, but with a bit of clay, some paint that I found from my old projects, and a lot of patience, I managed to pull it off.
After weeks of work, my minifigures were finally done! Seeing them all lined up was such a proud moment. They weren’t perfect, but they were mine, and they captured the spirit of “Elden Ring” in a way that made me happy. I took some photos and shared them with my online buddies, and they loved them too! They even asked me how I did it, and some of them wanted their own, that’s really an exciting thing for me!
Reflections
This project was a blast! It combined my love for “Elden Ring” with my passion for getting my hands dirty and creating something unique. It also reminded me how much fun it is to just let your creativity run wild. If you’re thinking about doing something similar, go for it! It’s a fantastic way to celebrate your favorite game and challenge yourself creatively.
Alright, that’s all for now. Stay tuned for my next project, and keep on gaming!
