So, I got this idea stuck in my head. I wanted to mess around with some CS:GO cases, but not the usual way. This time, it’s all about the knives. You know, those shiny, expensive virtual blades that everyone’s crazy about. Here’s how it all went down, step by step.
Getting Started
First things first, I needed to get my hands on some cases. Now, I didn’t want to spend a fortune, so I hit up the Steam Market and snagged a bunch of different cases. I made sure to grab a variety – some old ones, some new ones, just to see what would pop out.

And also I grabbed a ton of keys to open the case, which is really costy.
The Setup
Next, I fired up CS:GO and loaded up my inventory. It felt like Christmas morning, staring at all those unopened cases. I had a spreadsheet open on my second monitor to keep track of everything. Yeah, I’m that kind of guy. I wanted to record which case gave me what, the condition of the knives (if any), and all that jazz.
Opening Spree
Now for the fun part – the unboxing. I started with the older cases, hoping for some rare classics. I clicked that “Open Case” button, watched the little animation spin, and… bam! First case, a boring skin. Okay, no big deal. On to the next one. Another spin, another lame skin. This went on for a while.
- Case 1-10: A bunch of nothing. Seriously, where are the knives?
- Case 11: Finally! A knife! It was a Gut Knife Safari Mesh. Not the best, but hey, it’s a knife!
- Case 12-25: More disappointment. My spreadsheet was looking pretty sad.
- Case 26: Boom! Another knife! This time, a Flip Knife Fade. Okay, now we’re talking. This one’s a beauty.
- Case 27-50: Zip, nada, nothing. I was starting to think my luck had run out.
The Good Stuff
I kept at it, opening case after case. The animations started to blur together, but then, out of nowhere, I hit the jackpot.
- Case 55: A Karambit Doppler. Man, this thing was gorgeous. I stared at it for a good five minutes, admiring the patterns and colors.
- Case 70: I got a Bayonet Crimson Web. The red and black pattern was so cool. I felt like I am in the movie.
- Case 88: Another big win. This one is a M9 Bayonet Marble Fade. Dude! This is really really nice.
The Aftermath
After opening all the cases, I sat back and looked at my spreadsheet. I had a mix of emotions. On one hand, I got some awesome knives that I’d only dreamed of. On the other hand, I spent way more than I wanted to. But hey, it was a blast.
I ended up selling some of the skins and a few of the less impressive knives to recoup some of my “investment.” The Karambit, Flip Knife Fade, Bayonet Crimson Web, and M9 Bayonet Marble Fade? Those are staying with me. They’re just too cool to part with.
So, that’s my little adventure with CS:GO cases and knives. It was a rollercoaster of excitement and disappointment, but totally worth it. Would I do it again? Probably not anytime soon. My wallet needs a break. But if you’re feeling lucky and have some cash to burn, give it a shot. Just be prepared for a wild ride!
