Okay, so I’ve been grinding away at Fortnite Chapter 5, and let me tell you, finding those rare chests? A total game-changer. I decided I had to map these bad boys out, and share the results with my readers.
First thing I did was jump into the game. You know, the usual landing chaos, everyone scrambling for gear. But I had a mission: rare chests. I started hitting up some usual spots that I had thought, like maybe they are good. Spent a good chunk of time just exploring, trying to get a feel for where these chests might be hiding.
After a few rounds, I started noticing some patterns. Certain areas seemed more promising than others. Like, near named locations, but not directly in them. I felt I was totally in the right way. More on the outskirts, in these little unmarked spots on the map. I grabbed a pen and some paper, and I got to mapping.
- Hit up Grand Glacier. There are four chests there, in some buildings.
- Southeast of Grand Glacier. Three chests just waiting to be found.

- Reckless Railways has five chests. You have to explore there.
- East of Reckless Railways. One chest, but you will like it.
- Northeast of Reckless Railways. Three chests there, don’t miss it.

- Head west from Lavish Lair. There are two chests, easy to find.
- Inside Lavish Lair. Three chests, go find them all.

- At Fencing Fields. It has four chests, just search every house.
- Head east. You will find one chest.
- South of Fencing Fields. Three chests, just for you.

- Go to Hazy Hillside. Four chests are there.
- Southwest of Hazy Hillside. There is one chest.
- Head south. You can find two chests.

I went through match after match, marking down locations, getting sniped a few times, you know how it goes. But I kept at it, I knew this would be useful. Slowly but surely, my map started to fill up. I was getting pretty good at spotting these chests, too. It’s like I developed a sixth sense for them, haha.
Finally, after hours of gameplay, I had a pretty solid map. I mean, this thing was detailed. I’m talking specific buildings, landmarks, the whole nine yards. I tested it out a few more times, made some tweaks, and boom, it was ready. Now I can find the rare chest easily and fast. And this is really exciting. Hope you find them all and get good stuff!
