So, I really wanted to get into the VCT Americas, right? But the regular season didn’t go so well for me. I was kinda bummed, but then I remembered, there’s still a chance with the Last Chance Qualifiers! This was it – do or die.
First thing I did was check out which teams I was up against. Turns out, it was the bottom five teams from the regular season. Okay, not gonna lie, some of these teams were pretty scary. But hey, everyone loves an underdog story, right?
- Watched replays of their matches.
- Tried to figure out their favorite strategies.
- Noticed some weaknesses I thought I could use.
Then came the hard part – the grind. We’re talking hours and hours of practice every day. We scrimmaged against other teams, worked on our communication, and tried to patch up any holes in our game plan. I spent every day, try to make my team stronger.
My teammates, they were amazing. We pushed each other, supported each other, and basically lived and breathed Valorant for weeks. It was tough, I won’t lie. There were days when I felt completely drained. But we kept going, kept pushing, kept the dream alive.
When the qualifiers finally started, I was a nervous wreck. The first match was a blur. We played okay, but then we hit our stride and started playing like a well-oiled machine.
Every round was intense. Every clutch felt like it could be the turning point. There were some seriously close calls, times when I thought we were done for. But we held it together, even when things got really tight. We just tried our best to win the game.
And you know what? We did it. We actually made it through the Last Chance Qualifiers! I couldn’t believe it. All that hard work, all those hours of practice, it all paid off.
Man, it was such a great feeling. We celebrated, we cheered, we were all just so happy. We have to put more time into practice and maybe next time we will become the winner.
This whole experience taught me a lot. About teamwork, about perseverance, and about never giving up, even when the odds are stacked against you. I’m so proud of my team and everything we accomplished. And I can’t wait to see what we can do next! Wish we can be the champions!
