I saw the news today that Valorant is launching a free Battle Pass to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Man, I was so pumped! I quickly opened my computer and got ready to dive into the game.
First, I logged into my account and checked the store. It mentioned that the Lunar New Year bundle would probably be available around February 8th. It’s still a few days away, but I’m already getting excited just thinking about it.
Then, I jumped into a few matches to warm up and get a feel for the game again. It’s been a while since I last played, so I had to shake off some rust. After a couple of rounds, I started to get back into the groove.
Lunar Celebration Event Pass
While playing, I noticed there was a new Lunar Celebration Event Pass. I immediately started working through it, trying to complete the challenges and earn those sweet rewards.
- From what I could see, there was a “Wishing You Happiness” playing card that looked pretty cool.
- And also a “Happy Dumpling” gun buddy. I’m a sucker for cute gun buddies, so I definitely wanted that one.
I played for a few hours, grinding through matches and trying my best to win and complete those event challenges. It was pretty fun, and I even managed to clutch a few rounds, which always feels good.
By the end of the day, I had made some good progress on the Event Pass. It will probably take me a few more gaming sessions to earn everything, but hey, I’m not complaining. It’s all part of the fun, right?
I’m really looking forward to the Lunar New Year bundle dropping in the store. I’ll probably grab it as soon as it’s available. In the meantime, I’ll keep grinding away at the Event Pass and enjoying the game. Happy gaming, everyone!
