I recently got my hands on the Prestige High Noon Talon skin in League of Legends, and let me tell you, it was a journey. I’ve always been a Talon main, so when I saw this skin, I knew I had to have it.
First things first, I had to grind those games. I played like a madman, day and night. Ranked, normal, you name it. I was living and breathing League. My goal was to rack up those event tokens. I was laser-focused. I wasn’t eating, I wasn’t sleeping…just kidding. I was, of course, but you get the idea.

Getting the Base Skin
Before I could even think about the Prestige version, I needed the regular High Noon Talon. I saved up my RP, watched a few videos to hype myself up even more, and finally hit that purchase button. The splash art alone was worth it. Talon with a cowboy hat? Yes, please. It looks amazing, and honestly, the prestige version is a little better, but both are great. It’s like choosing between chocolate and more chocolate.
The Prestige Grind
Now, the real challenge began. To get the Prestige skin, I needed to get a bunch of tokens from the event. This meant playing even more games, completing missions, and basically dedicating my life to League. I teamed up with friends, joined random groups, and even solo-queued when no one was around. Every victory felt like a step closer, and every defeat was a punch in the gut. But, I pressed on, fueled by caffeine and the dream of that shiny, golden skin. It took forever, but eventually, I got enough.
Unlocking the Chroma
-
After getting the Prestige skin, I was curious about the chromas. So, I went ahead and unlocked a few. I got the Catseye, Emerald, Nomad, and Obsidian chromas. Each one gives Talon a different look, but they all maintain that cool, edgy vibe.
-
The Ruby chroma is pretty sick too, but I was running low on tokens, so I had to skip it for now. Maybe I’ll grab it later.
-
Oh, and I also saw that they released the skin alongside Leona, Varus, and Katarina. Pretty cool, but Talon is the star of the show, in my opinion.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, I had enough tokens. I went to the loot tab, held my breath, and clicked “craft.” And there it was. Prestige High Noon Talon, in all its glory. The gold accents, the updated effects, it was all so beautiful. I immediately equipped it and jumped into a game.
Playing with the skin felt amazing. Every kill, every roam, every outplay felt even more satisfying. I felt like a true, edgy cowboy assassin. Worth every second of the grind.
So, that’s my story of how I got the Prestige High Noon Talon skin. It was tough, but totally worth it. If you’re a Talon fan, I highly recommend going for it. Trust me, you won’t regret it.
